NOW IS the perfect time...

Those good ideas, those plans sitting on the back shelf, those field trips you are waiting to take... Consider your whole life, choose some great idea, and go for it. Now is the perfect time.

A. Try To Be Excellent...

Twice a year, on 5/31, and 12/31, cleanse your life, renew and re-establish your life. Touch every square inch of your life, discard the unused or unecessary, remove all clutter. Be Lean and Mean (passionate). Notice those things that you have not even touched in the last 6 months, or perhaps used only once, and decide if it should be placed in storage, given away, recycled or thrown out. Make more room to see clearly. Repair, replace, or adjust your life until it is excellent, and then try harder. Your life is one small move at a time, like a chess game. Use your head, follow your heart. Don't give up and don't give in... Have a great day.

Or, don't wait until those dates. Start now. Now being the perfect time. The more time you waste making excuses, the less time you have to get it done. Touching and evaluating every item, every space, every aspect of your life may take years... but a better understood, simpler, organized life is better for you and for those around you. Not to mention that the journey is reward in itself. Try to work from a base of wisdom and efficiency, to reach larger and better goals. Give youself a chance, plan your self a way, an Excellentway to make your world a better and simpler place, and by example encourage those around you. Be Strong, Wise, and Loving...

You are helpless among others except for two things... What you give... What you become... You cannot make someone love you, be honest with you, or dream with you... except by example. Wonder Fiercely! Create Constantly! Stop being timid, Try To Be Excellent, Even Extraordinary...

The kind words of a single person can change the entire day, the week, sometimes a lifetime of others... Be good to your friends, nice to strangers, extraordinary to the ones you love... Love is its own world. You can be a part of this world, but it is not something you can really own... You can destroy it easily with selfishness, fear, or lack of surrender... but it always demands certain actions. In any situation, love has a direction... If you truly love someone or if someone truly loves you, they will act in a predictable way. Otherwise it is something other than love... Most people trade, barter, or simply find furniture to add to their living room, always making their world better for themselves, never loving further than their own nose... Try to be truly loving. Be a part of this force rather than using the words to your own ends... Remind the person you love with a kiss. If alone, remember that someone is waking, looking for you... Give them something nice to find. Try To Be Excellent... Just be as loving and magical as you can be. You will surprise yourself if you try! Don't do excuses, don't give yourself the easy way out, just make the plan, do the plan. Use your head, follow your heart. Don't give up and don't give in...

Reach as far as you can with all that you can... Reach a little further than is possible, stretch to try and grasp that world just beyond your reach... Keep a good hopeful spirit, try to encourage yourself. Believe in yourself, that you have the power to make things better, to create better worlds, to help others around you, to be extraordinary! And you will!

Keep to the plan... Despite those things that keep getting in your way; lack of time, lack of funds, lack of inspiration, lack of confidence... just keep to the plan. Remember those projects that you never finished? Remember finding some evidence of your old efforts on some project you abandoned? Remember how you smiled at yourself for all your time and effort you once devoted, and your sadness at not trying harder? At not finishing it? Remember what you have. An idea, that perhaps no one else has quite the same... and even if many people share the same thought, how many actually struggle with it into reality? Ways to help:

1. In Your Face... Place your project, your notes, physical items, always about you, in your sight, with you in your car, in your pocket, memos on your phone, etc. If within your immediate presence, more likely will be considered by you...

2. List Next To Do... List the next step you need to accomplish. When you come back to working on this project, you see the next thing or group of things that need time and effot.

3. Be Patient... Don't be too impatient. Spend days, months, years, on your idea... Many great ideas evaporate at the first failure points. Remember that failure is a byproduct of trying, and almost nothing fails to fail along the way.

4. Believe... Believe that it can be. Success is the door that finally opens, after failing at many other doors... However if you don't believe the door will open, you won't ever reach for that door... Magical things happen to those who believe...

Our minds flirt from one idea to another.. there being something good and creative, even necessary, about it, and something negative and distracting, even demeaning there too. Most of our projects succeed, naturally because they have occupied the most of our time and efforts, combined with other favorable conditions...

Persistence is often the key. To supply some kind of dedicated attention, focus, thought and consideration to your goal, no matter how small... applied over and over... until the idea takes on a life and substance of its own.

A planned discipline, a system, that can be applied in the face of hardship, makes the effort easier...

Decide a goal, lay a path, apply a system, be flexible, creative, do whatever it takes as long as it is honorable, but be persistent... Every so often look back at how far you have come, and celebrate your place, wherever you are, because you are making it happen. Your setbacks are just a part of your success. Take encouragement there and then watch where you're going... jump ahead... and have a great time...
