It is easier to say what it is not...You cannot Try To Be Excellent and also be mean. You cannot Try To Be Excellent and be sloppy or cluttered in your thinking, or with your surroundings. You cannot Try To Be Excellent and also be hopeless or insincere. You cannot Try To Be Excellent and also be arrogant, petty, or selfish. You cannot Try To Be Excellent and also be unprepared, unaware or unwise... etc.

No, most people just follow along, leading a life of little discipline, little demand, and shallow dreams... They react to what happens in their lives, rather than evolving from a base of confidence to acting on greater ideas... 21. What is the problem of finding excellent items? What do you mean be keeping America first?

There is a real and tangible lack of quality and reliability in most items made today, irregardless of their origin, possibly due to the greed and selfishness found in human nature. However, we continually search the world for the best quality products, "res praeclarus", things excellent, to help members or others to be more excellent.

Where possible without reducing our standards, we will choose to buy American made products and support and encourage the growth and sustenance of the American spirit and economy. We wil do everything in our power to promote new research and development of projects that will provide jobs and growth for the American economy and the world, despite the times, in an excellent manner.

There is also a real panic and lack of compassion in corporate America today because of the hard times and changing economy. Instead of being a little compassionate, understanding, and reasonable, corporate America is being ruthless and without remorse to their clients who simply can't afford business as usual, and who need a break. These corporations have little honor, and even less common sense. Try to avoid being indebted to these corporate bullies. We can do better.

Unknown. Many times. Repetition is an ex.. good way to focus on a certain idea, stress a certain thought, encourage a specific attitude.

An intense and unique way for the Human Resources Department or any size firm, to increase the awareness and promote the idea of excellence among its employees, the most important resources of any business, for an entire year. An inspiring seminar, training aids, up to 21 hours of personal one on one Excellentway Personal Trainer Consultation for each member, and encouragement and inspiration for personal or business backed community projects.

A small business up to 10 people, may help sponsor the business for a $3000.00 initiation fee and $500.00 per person, per year. A larger corporate sponsor up to 100 members, may join for an initiation fee of $45,000.00 and $500.00 per person. Limited membership available. This person then has the opportunity to go to the Excellentway web site, enter some information including the ExWay Code Number and the Date it was given, and may discover that "something excellent" comes their way...

Membership is not for everyone. Most people don't think too much about philosophy, wisdom, or excellence... Most people are too busy just going from day to day... let alone thinking about it. The world is full of words and good intentions, even wisdom, all around us. Few notice, few take hold, and even fewer are confident enough to make a commitment, to change some things, to be more excellent... for themselves, and more importantly for the others around them, the world itself.

It is a general term applied to people who have adopted the Trying To Be Excellent philosophy and live their commitment by their actions. An ExWay Man/ExWay Woman is someone who lives a modern progressive lifestyle and tries to be strong, wise, and loving, they try to be excellent. They follow the philosophy of the society but are not members.

- 30. What if I am too busy to be excellent?

You can try to be excellent in at least one small way, somehow, someway, no matter how busy you are. Trying To Be Excellent is a life style. It has nothing to do with how busy you are.

One can never really be too excellent, there is always another kindness you can deliver, some new project you can contribute your wisdom or efforts to, some word, thought, or deed that will help make the world a better place...

You may have too many projects all going at the same time of course, which is easy to determine by the amount of inactivity they accumulate. If a project goes 30 or more days without attention, you are probably too busy. Reduce your projects to those you can actually devote some amount of time and effort to, at least once every 15 days. Finish something excellent.

Of course you can also be too much of a "perfectionist," to the point that it ruins the rest of your life, your relationships, etc. In which case, you should seek counseling. If everything "just has to be perfect" for you to be happy, seek help to understand why you feel that way and what you can do to make things better.

Become More Aware, Focus and Consider certain areas of your life, Resolve to make things better, then Act. Try To Be Excellent, but don't let it ruin your life or harm others.

Be a little sad if you must, but don't give up! You have the power to do what it takes, to try to make beautiful things happen, and fight the good fight. The Excellentway Society will acknowledge your membership only if asked directly.

Otherwise your membership and the Excellentway Society should be kept secret.

Well, you might if you keep trying... Your mind set and persistence is the key. Never easy, never should be. Stretch further than you can, try to do the impossible, some immense excellent thing... And if not the world today, then one small beautiful dedicated attempt, a simple kind gesture, a smile, a plan for tomorrow... Your simple small attempt may be something grand and world changing in itself, just not within your knowing... Ignore the negative people around you, and ADD. Just ADD. Always Determined Dedicated.
