Excellentway Lifetime System General Calendar:

* JANUARY/2010:

O 1. Renew and Reset your life. Touch every item you own, every piece of paper, door mat, clothes or other thing, that you claim. If a business, conduct an inventory.

Analyze each item. Determine if it is to be kept, moved to some other place, recycled, thrown out, or sold on Ebay. This process may take months or even years at first. However, the Excellentway Lifetime System requires you to review your life top to bottom about twice a year.

O 2. While moving about and touching every item of your life, clean it AND the space it occupies, repaint, renew, wax the area, etc. until it sparkles. Use anti-bacterial spray and floor cleaner to make the area something exceptional. Yes, it should be clean enough to have dinner on it...

O 3. Drug test yourself and those closest to you to prove to the world that you are still honorable and in control. Misuse of chemicals destroys more people and the lives around them than any other thing in our world. Give help to those who want it, put some distance between you and any addicted persons who cannot be trusted. If a business, drug test all employees and have help available.

O 4. Re-evaluate your play and exercise, or work out activities. Your healthy attitude and habits are essential to your well being. Increase or change activities as necessary to keep a fit and healthy you.

O 5. Replace batteries as necessary and Recharge all rechargeable batteries in equipment. Analyze all equipment used, from phones to computers, to vehicles, and determine if it should be replaced, updated or otherwise improved. Keep a backup piece of equipment, an exact duplicate if possible, of every important machine used in your personal or business life. Machines are more reliable than people, but will always fail sooner or later. Keep an eye out as to how you might improve personal or business systems and accumulate relevant data through out the year.

O 6. Buy bulk supplies clothing and necessities, equipment, etc., to keep you, and/or the business to your set standards, during the coming year.

For example, purchase 30 pairs of quality black socks, placed into a dedicated bin. Use day to day out of this bin. As you wash the socks place them into a different dedicated bin. When Clean Socks Bin is empty, refill from Washed Socks Bin. This will ensure about the same amount of wear for each pair of socks, normally lasting about 9 months. Adopt the same kind of system with pants, shirts, belts, etc. Remember only to wear what looks excellent on you. Once it starts to lose color or become worn, out it goes.

Or for example, a business uses plastic file folders over and over throughout the year. They become dingy, cracked and frayed, and less than excellent in appearance. Save the old ones as backup in case needed, and replace with new file folders.

O 7. Change and update all web sites, work forms, personal and business cards, make new laminated rate cards, etc. for the new year.

O 8. Backup all important information on computers, phones, etc., with off site data disaster recovery.

O 9. Archive last years old files into storage, shred all unecessary files from all file cabinets. Rewrite, reorganize file cabinet drawers for best efficiency.

O 10. Try to resolve old problems and nagging tasks that should have been finished by this time.

O 11. Review all On-Going Projects and consider New Projects. Set or change priorities or methods as required.

O 12. Celebrate your accomplishments so far. Determine how you might help the others around you with their own personal or business projects.

Have an Excellent Month!
